Crazy me!

In class, I used to sit on the last bench and compose poems and dedicate it to people around. This ritual started in my 12th standard class and I continued it throughout! These two poems are dedicated to one of my friend in SIMSR. I was convincing her to commit suicide! As in, giving her reasons to die πŸ˜›

I used to write them in their notebook. Recently she gave me these poems! I wrote it as if she is writing it!

First Part of the poem:-

There are many things that one must not do..
there are other things that one must totally avoid..
this should also apply to God..
for the betterment of mankind..
but still i was born……………………

sometimes i feel..
that m just adding to the population
reducing the per capita income..
if Apoorva is an asset of India,m the bad debt..
corrupting the whole balance sheet of life..
i should kill myself with a sharp knife………………..

finally i have realized..
i was not born to live..
m just born without any reason..
God made me without any vision………………………….

truth is my life is a big fat hell..
the brand of my laptop is dell..
every morning i travel by rail..
in every exam of life.. i always fail……………………….

Second part of the poem:-

Everybody hates me..
and mocks at my life..
if apoorva is like an oxygen to mankind
then m like a vacuum pipe……

i know i cant do anything..
but still i will try..
i will torture everybody..
till the moment they cry……..

when i walk on those dark streets
i wish i come under many cars..
ethically and morally people like me
should definitely be behind iron bars..

my birth is a big mistake but i don wanna repeat it..
let my death be made as a trick to put everybody in trouble..
if satyam is a scam then m its bubble..

Optimum utilization!

Recently I went to Safari world in #Bangkok (Twitter has really got me πŸ˜› ). So it was a huge Indian zoo with lot of entertaining programs and shows. Just to name few: Dolphin show, Cow boy Stunt, Sea Lion, Beluga whale show, Orang Utan, Spy war etc. Lot of efforts were put in these show and I really appreciate those who organized it. Thais are great host and dost! Let me write a special article for them some other time. So this was very famous tourist spot perhaps that’s why the famous KESARI Tours of India brought all their passengers to this Safari world. There were around 60-70 people from India.

I was sitting with my Indian group of AIT. The kesari tour was sitting at a distance from where we were sitting. We all were waiting for Dolphin show to begin. We all, Indians, came to grab our seats 30mins before the show assuming that there would competition in the external environment πŸ˜› . There was a host who was playing songs of all nationality. After few Thai and perhaps Vietnamese song he announced a song for India, that too a patriotic one.

Classic song of Dilip Kumar. One of my all time favorite song,  it is obvious that I liked the song more for its lyrics. But then I know how influential this song would have been for the people who were young at that time when it was released. Film was NAYA DAUR (1957). A very catchy song that compels you to dance if you are happy!

Indians are generally divided in their own country but united abroad (a very personal observation), it’s not about just Indians, any nationality I must say. But I saw a very weird scene! When the song started, a few middle-aged Indians of Kesari Tour got up from their seats, with hands in air, they started to dance while the public was watching them. Gradually the Kesari Tour made their area as the dance floor! Women were dancing in their Saris. Old men were dancing. They were all so happy. and Why not? These were the middle class India junta who had worked so hard to take their spouses, their children or their parents on a foreign trip. Thailand may not be Europe or USA, but its outside India, and yes, it is special for them. As I saw them, they were all retired people. Some might be sent to this trip by their sons, daughters or some might have done this:-

And what if such people go outside India, listens to Indian patriotic song, and dance a bit on it. No problem right? Dance is in our culture after all. But there was a big problem. Not to Thais (they are sweetest on this planet) but to their fellow Indians, the young guns of India. Some conversations:-

Fuck, I am not an Indian, I am not with them

This is so embarrassing!

What the hell! Look at them, that’s why India’s image is going down

and like this, India was divided. Great! were they disturbing anybody? They were just dancing when the song was played. What was their fault? you might be sons and daughters of rich Indian parent who visits different countries. but they are not, its their first and the last trip. After going back, who knows, they will go to their respective Vridhaashrams(Second Home for the parents whose children have left them/retirement hermitage). They might be suffering a lot back there in India, don’t they have right to enjoy few moments of happiness? This song is like “KOI KAHE KEHTA RAHE” to them. During that time, youth were relating themselves to country, now they are relating themselves to friends etc. Naya Daur was DIL CHAHTA HAI to them. And everybody knows how Indians are attached to films, songs and Bollywood in general. Is it that embarrassing?

At least they were ONLY dancing. Thank God that they were not drinking and dancing and making out in local pub parties like we(youth) do. Thank God that they were not fighting with each other after getting drunk. Thank God they were not abusing each other in intoxication. Thank God that they were dancing with their wives and not with different indifferent girls! Thank God that they were not having drugs, sex etc that is killing today’s youth! Now who is taking India’s image down? We are here to spread happiness by any means!

God, we all were embarrassed. My friends were embarrassed coz Kesari was from India, I was embarrassed coz they were embarrassed. When I was lost in all these embarrassments, a few white foreigners came and started dancing with the Indians, few Afganis, Pakistanis joined in. And believe me, after this song, one Arabic song was played, all the Arabs were their on the dance floor dancing and enjoying! People were so happy(and not embarrassed!

The Thai fellow who was playing this song got so happy that he played 2 back to back Indian songs! Yes, but this time I had a problem, coz those were Himesh Reshamiya songs! oooo0000OOOO000ooooooo! πŸ˜›

By the way, I know there is one topic still not researched, about how westerners influenced the Asians and convinced them that their culture is inferior to them! That is why today’s youth flaunts fake accent, put gel in hair etc. Wait for this post as its gonna be very interesting to know. Till then, stay embarrassed, stay ashamed!

Trivia: Every time I tried to spell embarrased in this article, I got it wrong! oops.. not again! πŸ˜›

Baba Black Hole ka Gyaan!

The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes

I am ready for all opportunities, confusion starts when I think of taking this or wait for the better one!

Success does not consist in never making blunders, but in never making the same one a second time. Josh Billings

Will you follow this quote if you are in Engg. college? Also, this way, the world will be divided into those whose first love is successful and those who are still single! πŸ˜›

I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure–which is: Try to please everybody.

So what should we do? Sit, eat and sleep??

Success is the good fortune that comes from aspiration, desperation, perspiration and inspiration.

If someone likes Madhuri Dixit or Kajol, aspires for her, is desperate for her, is ready to perspire for her, and is totally inspired to have her! Kuch bhi! Try your luck, they both have families! I don’t like anybody and I am still successful! πŸ˜›

The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack in will

Have you heard of luck? or Devdas? πŸ˜›

The secret of success is to know something nobody else knows. Aristotle Onassis

Do you know what is the colour of my inner wear? No na, I am still not successful because I know it!

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. Robert Collier

I read newspaper daily but I am not able to score a century in any match of cricket. Got it? πŸ˜›

Start differentiating between the opportunities and wait for the right one. Make mistakes yaar, every-time you will get new ideas and thoughts and philosophies! Yes why should we please or hurt anybody, bhai do your own work and the world will love you, you will end up pleasing everybody! Aspiration, perspiration etc are just words with similar sound, the true melody of life is to do what you like! There is nothing called “lack of will”, yes, “lack of interest” is acceptable! It is not about small efforts you put day in and day out, it’s about the right effort at right time with right strength in right direction is all that matters!

And still if you are not successful, read such quotes and make fun of it! Good time pass, it will allow you to think out-of-the-box! Right? why to read quotes and restrict our thinking to the composer of those quotes, make your own quotes. Trust me, it’s the best way to kill time! πŸ˜›

Phir mile sur mera tumhaara

The day after republic day was memorable. It started with Mile Sur Mera tumhara and ended with iPAD getting launched. In both the cases I was disappointed!

India is a diverse country with many states, languages, cultures etc. It is like Europe. And the variety is at its max. This does not mean that the video should be endless! If you are reducing the time, you are not restricting any culture to express!

This song is unsuccessfully TRYING to kill the old song while successfully committing suicide!

The song, I feel, is about togetherness. It is about unity expressed in the form of ‘sur banne HAMARA’. The song seemed to be in bits and pieces. Everybody was singing their own tune in their own language separated by pauses in between. In the times of MNS and Telangana, its time to show the world that we are still united!

As one my friend Ms.Suruchi expressed:- Where is Mr.Sachin R. Tendulkar in the song? Does he not deserve to be in there in the place of Shahrukh or Aamir who has been just acting out there, spreading hands! I know they are the highest tax payers of the country and contributes in the growth! But still, I think Sachin deserves to be in there! As a kid I was most attracted towards Kapil Dev running in the older version than Amitabh singing! (btw, I liked the Salman Khan part of the song, good concept).

Even the foreigners will love the older version of the song. So simple, that is how India is!

The song has no soul. The soul was working hard day and night to earn his/her daily bread. The soul was in the older version sitting on the elephant. The common man! As usual lost in the glamor of fake actors and celebrities! So actually, this is a good song right? why?

It reflects the rich urban culture of India ignoring the other side!
There is no place for common man!
There is no place for honest hardworking sports personalities!
There is no connection between the culture as they are moving apart!

Good work and Hats off for taking pains to reflect the real picture of India!

The old song was about Bharat, this song reflects today’s India – Karthik (My SIMSR friend)

Indeed, this one LINE describes everything about the difference between the two songs!

Making of Pizza – 3 Idiots!

Not just this, the induction motor joke, the pencil in the space joke, I dunno about you, but I got all these jokes in emails or SMSes. I am sure the creative writing team of 3idiots brought all such mails together like the pizza toppings, put it on the base made by Mr. Chetan Bhagat, branded it with Aamir Khan, increased the temperature by putting hot female actor and delivered it to the audience! Now, the pizza is making a business worth crores of rupees all over!

Yes, many things were original in the film. But as it is known, people only see what is wrong. Still, movie is doing well, so nobody is bothered about it. Aal izz well!

Teen Patti

Teen Patti brings together a world renowned mathematician Perci Tratchtenberg (Ben Kingsley) and Venkat (Amitabh Bachchan), a brilliant mathematician from India.

At a casino in London, the two geniuses meet. Venkat ignites Perci’s curiosity when he reveals that he has come across a theory that questions the existing principles of probability and randomness.

He decides to apply this discovery in the real world on Teen Patti (a poker game). Along with Shantanu (Madhavan), Sid (Siddharth Kher), Bikram (Dhruv Ganesh), Abbas (Vaibhav Talwar) and Aparna (Shraddha Kapoor) – he hits the gambling dens in Mumbai.

But brilliance comes with a price that threatens to destroy him.
